KGB!!! - October 1st

Friday, October 1st, 7:00 - 10:00 PM The KGB is back! Every year about 300 youth gather in Victoria for one of the greatest events a teenager can be a part of. Drop off is at Saanich Baptist Church (on Wilkinson), and pick up will be the same location at 10pm. Cost is $2. This event is super fun, but involves teamwork, dark clothes, and being very very sneaky. MSM youth in Grades 6 and 7 will be in groups of 4+ along with a leader, and will be given the task to safely and strategically make their way around the neighbourhood to a few different checkpoints. All the while, trying not to be caught by the KGB police. Those in older grades will not have the guarantee of running with a leader, but some may be available. Though the event sounds a little dangerous, we have run close to 50 of these in the city with no major issues. The groups are provided with maps to guide them through the neighbourhood, and it is a good idea to have cell phones.
