Ice to Water

Ice to Water is a new charity event that is being planned by Andy Renton. It involves hockey, music, thousands of people, and raising money for charity! This is a Victoria Grizzlies charity event to build water wells in Africa. 1 in 6 people around the world do not have clean drinking water... as in they drink water you wouldn't even let your dog touch. And they get sick or die because of it. So we're gonna raise money and build 10 wells in Ethiopia through FH Canada while getting to enjoy ourselves! Tickets for the hockey game are just $10 each, half of which ($5) will go directly to building wells in Africa. There'll be a band playing music throughout the night, we'll get to cheer on the Victoria Grizzlies hockey team, and there will be prizes, face-painting, and all other sorts of fun. KGB!!! - October 1st

Friday, October 1st, 7:00 - 10:00 PM The KGB is back! Every year about 300 youth gather in Victoria for one of the greatest events a teenager can be a part of. Drop off is at Saanich Baptist Church (on Wilkinson), and pick up will be the same location at 10pm. Cost is $2. This event is super fun, but involves teamwork, dark clothes, and being very very sneaky. MSM youth in Grades 6 and 7 will be in groups of 4+ along with a leader, and will be given the task to safely and strategically make their way around the neighbourhood to a few different checkpoints. All the while, trying not to be caught by the KGB police. Those in older grades will not have the guarantee of running with a leader, but some may be available. Though the event sounds a little dangerous, we have run close to 50 of these in the city with no major issues. The groups are provided with maps to guide them through the neighbourhood, and it is a good idea to have cell phones.

MSM Youth Group Launch!!

Friday, September 24th @ 7:30 PM Tonight we'll be launching our MSM Youth Group. We'll have slices of pizza and some pop to enjoy as we hang out with one another, learn some new names, and play some fun games. Come on out and bring a friend.

May 14 - Breakfast Club!

This week we'll be having all sorts of breakfast related fun! Of course there'll be breakfasty food, but there will also be lots of fun games. Hope to see you there!!

Come join us for a life-size version of Candyland... and of course, there'll be lots of candy!

Friday, April 30 - Photo Rally!!

This week we'll be taking over the neighbourhood as we take the most creative photos you've ever imagined. There'll be a little scavenger hunt mixed in with this, so it will be different than past years. We'll be posting the pics afterward, so you don't want to miss the opportunity to get into the best MSM pics we'll take all year!! Youth will be separated into groups of 4-8 people, and will travel around with 1 leader each. Come at 7pm and feel free to bring your charged camera if you want. But make sure you bring the cord that connects it to a computer so we can get the pics.

Feb. 19 - Twisted Olympics

Join us this Friday from 7-9 for our 'TWISTED OLYMPICS'. Come compete in all sorts of wacky events for a chance to win medals and prizes! You won't want to miss this amazing event!

Feb. 5 - Salmon Kings Game

This week MSM will be going to a Salmon Kings game! You must get your tickets in advance, and order them by WEDNESDAY. Tickets are $13 each. Bring family and friends!
